All children at the school (as well as staff and Governors) are linked to a ‘house’. The three houses take their names from copses in WestWoods.
- Henley – Blue
- Ashen – Yellow
- Foxbury – Red
Children can collect house point tokens during the school day which are added to their House total. At regular intervals rewards are given to the house with the most points. At sports day, the children wear t-shirts in their house colours and compete in a wide range of races to gain as many points for their house as possible in order to win the coveted cup.
At the beginning of every academic year, each year group votes for their representative on the school council.
The Council meet regularly, led by Mrs Hues, and discuss ways to improve the school, new fund raising initiatives and any issues arising. Outputs are shared with the Head Teacher and at whole school assembly.
We have a small group of dedicated governors who work along side our Head Teacher. They are split into two sub committees:
1. Finance & Staffing
2. Curriculum & Standards
