Cars and Parking

The road through the village is very narrow and is used by some very large lorries as they need to get to businesses further up into Lockeridge. Our school is served by two school buses, which both require extra space and therefore get in to difficulty if cars are parked inappropriately.

In order to deal with this difficult situation we ask parents travelling by car to:

One Way System

Stick to the unofficial one way system we operate during the drop off and pick up, so that they enter Lockeridge via West Overton and exit via Fyfield. Therefore keeping the school on your left hand side. 

Drop & Go Option

The two school gates are manned by staff every morning for parents who wish to drop and go.

Park at the Pub

For parents who wish to bring their children into school we ask that you support our informal parking arrangement with The Who’d a thought it pub to allow parents to park in the car park between 8:45am – 9:00am and 3:00pm – 3:20pm.

We strongly ask that you park with consideration for our neighbours so that they do not block driveways and entrances to houses in the village.

As part of our travel plan, we are keen to minimise the impact the school has on the village.
