On the 6^th if March, Kennet Valley School’s reading champions set up and hosted book day activities in each classroom.

In the early hours of the morning, 9 reading champions explained the day and also mentioned a secret surprise in the afternoon.

All the children proceeded to line up in the playground, heading inside for their first activity.

Starting off the afternoon, all the children finished their current activity and moved on to paired reading, which meant that the younger children paired up with the older children to read stories.

Concluding the day, they had hot chocolate and biscuits while listening to a bedtime story.
