On Thursday 6^th March the Kennet Valley School Reading Champions organised activities for the other children to enjoy. In collective worship they announced how the day was going to work.

The children at KVS were split into 5 groups and each rotated around the school doing different activities. All activities had something to do with books, writing or drawing. The reading champions activities included a quiz, bookmark making, reading and changing a story, drama, and making a front cover for a book.

After lots of activities they completed paired reading where the Year 5s did paired reading with the Year 3s and the Year 6s did paired reading with the Year 2s.

At the end of the day  they were read a story and hot chocolate with marshmallows and a cookie.
